Hi,

I'm heading to Portugal on January 8th and will spend two weeks in the country. I'm trying to figure out my exact itinerary - I'm thinking a week or so in the beginning and end in Lisbon and day trips and then a week in the middle in the Algarve.

I was wondering if people had any suggestions as to the order with which I should approach the towns, particularly in the Algarve.

I'm a college freshman who has never been to Portugal. I want a combination of beaches, partying, and…

Hello,

i leave this saturday from palma de mallorca to go to portugal to spend the holidays... i'm bringing my touring bike and at first was planning on doing a 4-6 day tour from Lisbon to Faro but after having researched it a bit, realized that the first leg of the journey would be one, really wet and two, not particularly spectacular... Is this a reasonable assumption? i have rain gear and places I would stay on the route, but if a faucet is let loose on me, along with headwinds the entire…

Howdy,

I'm planning my walking trip to Portugal for September 2010. I favor tracks involving moderate elevation gains. I'll fly in to Porto and sightsee for 2-days. My question is: what guided walking tour company in the area can offer not-steep elevations, forests, some villages and overnight accommodations? My homework on this area resulted in my favoring walks in the National Park. Perhaps someone has an alternate walking area and the reasons why. Thanks.

Hi!

A friend and I are planning a trip to Protugal over Christmas and New Year. We have the option of spending New Year in Lagos or Faro. Which palce would you recommend? We would ideally like to spend about 3 nights at one and 2 nights at the other place.

Is there much to see in Faro?

Thanks in advance

Hello again,

We are also thinking of going to the Lisbon or the southern part of Portugal instead. Again, here's the situation: My husband and I are planning to take a week-long trip to Portugal for our first anniversary. We're also looking to get a place in Lisbon or Algarve, maybe near Sagres, by the beaches so that we can take some time to surf. We're also looking to rent a car while there and would like to see much of the culture of Portugal. Any suggestions on places to visit, things to…

Hello,
My husband and I are planning to take a week-long trip to Portugal for our first anniversary. We're looking at getting a place to stay in Porto by the beaches so that we can take some time to surf. We're also looking to rent a car while there and would like to see much of the culture of Portugal. Any suggestions on places to visit, things to see, and other things to do while there would be appreciated. We will be there at the end of March going into the beginning of April and already…
