We are planning a 14 day trip to Portugal arriving September 16th in the late afternoon. We are booked for 4 nights in Lisbon. After that we plan to go to Evora for 1 night. Then we want to head to another town for 2 nights. I considered Nazare, but I am wondering if this is too touristy now. Better suggestions are very welcome.

is there a bus from faro airport to faro train station?
is the only methods of public transport from the airport bus or taxi?
i am going to olhao, I was planning to get a bus from the airport to faro train station then a train to olhao.

My boyfriend and I are planning on spending a week in Portugal in early September. We want to spend three or four nights in Lisbon and the rest of the week somewhere a bit quieter.
Not sure whether we want beach or countryside. I know the weather is best in the Algarve but we would also consider quieter more scenic coastal resorts, or something more inland. My wife and I will be travelling to Portugal in the middle of October and we have one day at Porto to explore the Duoro river valley.I have gathered from what is avaible on the net, that the stretch from Regua to Barca d' Alva is the the most beautiful part of the valley. Since we are not the wine tasting types and are cramped for time, would like to avoid the luxury cruises which are advertised on the net. Please advise if there are river boats available to go upstream from Regua…
