Nazare to Peniche transport

Is it easy enough to get from Nazare to Peniche? Is there a direct bus? Or would I need to change somewhere? About how long would this trip take?

And are there regular buses from Peniche to Lisbon? (I have been to the rede-expressos webiste, but it's in Portugese and freezes all the time!)

I also only know Rede Expresso operating in the area. I did a couple of searches for the journeys you suggested and found out that :

  • There are regulares buses from Lisbon to Peniche (94Kms), they take 1:35 and cost 7.5€ per person.
  • There are regulares buses from Lisbon to Nazare (115Kms), they take 1:50 and cost 8.6€.
  • From Nazaré to Peniche you have 3 daily buses (11:15, 15:10 and 20:00). They take 1:10, cost 8.00€ and the journey is 62Kms long.
