Hey guys.
I'm having a hard time finding a way to get to Sintra (on a budget) from London.
Does anyone know how to get there?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

It doesn't seem particularly difficult, but maybe it's something to do with the dates you are travelling on? Fly from London to Lisbon, probably with Easyjet from Gatwick or Luton - fares as low as €29 one way depending on your day of travel. Local train from central Lisbon to Sintra. Or perhaps there is a way from the airport to Sintra without going into the centre of Lisbon, it's a while since I've been there.

Hey there. Thanks for the super quick reply! I had a look and you're right Easy Jet does some super cheap flights. That's fantastic. My problem now is that I can seem to find trains leaving Rossio Station to Sintra. Apparently that is the station to get the train from? I'm thinking of going in November...is this not a good time to go??
I really enjoy scenic surroundings...perhaps there are other places in the vicinity I can check out?

There are trains from Rossio station to Sintra as often as once every hour or more - at least this was true during the summer. Not sure about November. But in any case, it's a 45 minute train trip and very inexpensive.
When my wife and I were in Portugal last September we took the train from Lisbon's Rossio Station to Sintra. The trains left every twenty minutes and the pleasant ride took just 35 minutes. Just go to the station anytime, get your ticket, and you will be on your way in a few minutes.
