How much do you expect to enjoy being in Portugal if you are just rush, rush, rushing from place to place?

I love the zippy tour attitude of, "If the museums aren';t open when we're ready, thats just their tough lukc."
Museu,s and sights have odd hours.
If you'r in Sintra on Monday, the Royal Castle on the mountain is closed.
But the park next to it is other worldly. And open on Mondays. Walk/clime, up the foot path (not the road) to the high point. Beeezarrrrrre!
