Has anyone stayed at Pensao Globo in Lisbon recently?

Mentioned in a couple of places re; accommodation in Lisbon, but their online presence seems to have disappeared...

Is it still around?

Also;

We have an early morning check-in at Lisbon airport on the way home. Are there airport buses that will get us there for the latest check-in time of 6.15am for our TAP flight home, or should we just head straight to the taxi rank to get us there?

The easiest method to reach the airport is by the newly opened metro line (red line) but the services start at 6:00 so it may be cutting it a bit fine.

It opened in September and is the best way to reach the centre of Lisbon from the airport, see this airport guide for more information

The subway (Metro) opens at 06:30, so no option, and yes there is a new airport station.

There are the Airport bus but is also at 06:30 so, no option.

Sorry but you have to get a taxi, for your early check in.

Thanks for that - joys of an early morning flight!

Looking forward to the visit though - even though it's over three months away.

Could be something to do with the snow in the UK that coincided with our last trip away - something that I hope isn't going to affect next week's break!
