just another detail: by coincidence I came across a note that the railway-tracks between Lisbon and Evora (to be precise: between Vendas Novas and Casa Branca) are currently closed for electrification works (which will take some time), transport is replaced by busses, thus you'll merely have to choose between cp-busses and rede-busses ;-)
