I checked out hotelscombined and it has Hotel Colina Dos Mouros for 30 euros a night this month and 26 euros a night next month. It looks pretty good.

Cyberia, where did you see a Portugal forum in TT...? Smurfin's contribution was published in the Western Europe section (to whom I count Spain and Portugal). Anyway, I liked the way you defended Nerja's beaches :-)

Too late to correct it, I guessed you had clicked on "Europe - Western Europe" so got a selection of posts from around Europe. I always click on "Select Country" which concentrates on a single country. Sorry.
The thing about Nerja is that I knew nothing about the so called sewage problem there though I have spent months there (another 65 days, come December 2010) and been to the beach many times. No other visitor I talked to there mentioned it either. So how bad could the problem be?
