Hi all,
I'm looking for any info on Algarve's hiking trails (easy to medium level), that are easily accessible using public transport. I'll be travelling along the coast in the first week of June. Most likely staying in Faro and then Lagos.
Any suggestions would be massively appreciated. Thanks!

From Lagos you can try to hike from Cabo de Sao Vicente to Sagres or vice versa - depending on bus connections. Those to the Cabo are less frequent than to and from Sagres, so you may start your hike from the Cabo and walk to Sagres. Nice cliff-side walk, to be done cautiously, as people have died there falling from unstable cliff edges. As far as I remember a short section was parallel to a road near an army or police base of some sort but that did not spoil the experience.
