I am staying in Groningen for a couple of months next autumn because of my job, and I need a cheap bed there, but it is pretty difficult finding a room for rent for only a couple of months, and the only backpackers hostel I found asks for 25 euros for a bed in a common bedroom. I work at the university and I have no expenses for this, just my savings. I will be visiting Amsterdam & Prague, with a total of 7 to 9 nights available and I'm wondering what would be the best split between the 2 cities. It's my first time to both cities. My initial thought was 5 Amsterdam & 4 Prague, but I'm really flexible and can do 72 or 6+3 or 4+4 or 43.

For Amsterdam, the main interests would be to browse the main tourist sights of the city, do a museum or two, a river cruie, a bike tour of the city, explore the RLD, but more focus would be given to chill…

pharmacies in the Netherlands. Some Dutch pharmacies close to the border with Belgium will accept the
Belgium prescription.

I was wondering if someone knows a pharmacy near the border with Belgium that would allow me
to buy Malarone with my Belgium prescription.

On the 30th July I'm going to travel to china and I have a stopover in Amsterdam from 11:10 to 20:50. I've been to amsterdam twice already but never by plane, so I have no idea what to expect in terms of transport to and from Shiphol airport. What transports are available and what are the fares in general? Even if I only have time for a couple of hours in amsterdam, anything is better then staying holed up in the airport.

I will be visiting Amsterdam for three days soon. I wanted to do a half day trip somewhere outside of Amsterdam but place that's within 30 min or 45 min via public transportation.
I can't decide between Leiden, The Hague, Utrecht, or Haarlem and wanted other people's suggestions. I am looking for a place that has lots of sights to see, with nice and pretty arcitecture and if possible the most different from Amsterdam architecture wise. Also want to be able to see the sites via foot.

my wife and I are going soon to spend a week off in Leiden (staying at some friends) and we are already planning like to travel to Amsterdam (twice at least), The Hague, Noordwijk and a few other places nearby.

Ideally we would like to have a travelcard or whatever is the best option to cover both of us for traveling around for one week without buying single tickets a few times a day.

Any idea?
