Solo traveler to Amsterdam

Other option for the 5 days to kill (or spend?)
4 nights Amsterdam
6 nights Belgium
or 3 nights Belgium
3 nights Paris/Cologne/Eifel/Luxemburg...

But again, your interests!

1 night (= less than 1 day) in Belgium is a waste of time - you cannot see a country in 1 day.

If I were you I'd spend 5 nights in the Netherlands - and make a few day trips from Amsterdam - and the rest in Belgium. Or spend all your time in either country, they have enough to offer to keep you amused for 1,5 weeks.

As arizona pointed out, it's quite pointless to make specific suggestions without knowing your interests.

Hey, I just got back from Amsterdam which I visited alone. If you want to meet some quality like-minded people between the ages of 21-35 in a moderately upscale seting for a good price, try Flossy Inc. www.flossyinc.com. I had an amazing time and got into one of Amsterdam's most exclusive guest-list only nightclubs. 80 EUROS for about 5 hours, with 3 top-shelf drinks, entrance fees, some snacks and a nightlife tour guide to take you around for the night is a bargain. I for sure would have wasted my money anywhere else. God Luck!

But maybe he didn´t. He didn't bother to come back on the Forum.
And the info might be useful for others. But it's exactly his age 21-35 (27). And quality like minded people, whatever that may be, yes, that's exactly Amsterdam
