Any idea where I could buy them in town

Not sure if drugstore chains like Etos and Kruidvat sell them, from a quick google search I get the impression you need to go to an apotheek instead - find the nearest one to where you are in Rotterdam through Google Maps.

Kruidvat and Etos sell them, I live in NL. But an apotheek (pharmacy) also sells them. Ask for patches against 'wagenziekte' (dutch term for motion sickness, we call it car sickness :)

tks, I went to quite a few apotheek and didn't find them, I will keep on trying, I already left Rotterdam, now I'm in Noord-Holland
