We are a mature couple living in New Zealand and would like to exchange our house and car for similar in Holland preferably central around Utrecht. Time we would like is during summer ( yours ) which is during our winter July/Aug .
We are in Auckland near the center of the city 20 min by car and have a house with 2 1/2 bathrooms, sleeping for up to 6. and a mid size car.One of us can speak Dutch and was born in ZH
Our winter is not very cold but with plenty of rain. Ski slopes are 4 hrs away in the center of the island.
We are hoping to find house swapping sites on the web or individual inquiries.
Can anyone help?

there are special sites for that-house swopping-[and longer time ago offices via newspapers etc.] do a google and go for them-then people get some reinsurance/and Insurtance from that company-more likely to reach result as a wild shot here. Dutch people likely would not even dream of doing that without some reassurance/nack-up

Check out www.homeexchange.com. I've just arranged an exchange through them. I find the site very simple to use and even if you're not a member, you can look at the houses on offer. But if you want to contact the people who offer their houses for exchange, you have to sign up. I've found it very good value for money, because within a week I found the people I'm exchanging with, but maybe I was lucky.
