Hello, all,
I've got a one-night layover in Amsterdam the week after next and hope to get as much out of my meager 20 hours in the city as possible. I have the option of taking the Connexxion shuttle bus from Schiphol 'direct' to my hotel (with stops at other hotels on route, I assume), or the train to Centraal Station, whence I can transfer to a tram.
My question is this: how much faster is the shuttle? It seems as though the train from the airport is quite quick anyway, and my hotel's only around 2K from Amsterdam Centraal, so if it's not raining I might even decide to walk. But if the shuttle is really, really fast (fifteen minutes from the airport, door-to-door, for example), I might just do that and save a little time.
Your thoughts?
PS--apologies if this has been asked before; I searched but didn't see anything relevant.
