Hi - my husband and I were wondering what we can expect to pay for staying in a modest apartment in Amsterdam for 3 weeks in July 2009. We'd like to spend less than 700 euros. Any tips/links appreciated.

700 for 3 weeks, then u have to stay somewhere out of town :>
consider home exchange websites or hostels.
Although u can ask here or maybe on www.marktplaats.nl (dutch ebay:>) if people r willing to rent their appartment while they are on holidays themselfs. its july so it should be possible. Then 700 euro is an acceptable price for 3 weeks id say....depending on the appartment/neighbourhood
