My husband and I will be flying from London into Naples on a Sunday landing around 16:25. It is really difficult to find out exact details about which buses run on Sundays. We were thinking of taking the Alibus from the airport to Napoli Piazza Garibaldi and then from there taking the train to Salerno, but once in Salerno we're having a hard time finding a way to Amalfi. It will be too late to take a ferry by the time we get there. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

We left Siracusa, Sicily about 10:15 for a quick drive to Messina, the ferry and on to Tropea. The first hour of our drive was easy and uneventful. Then things went a little wrong – seems we typed in the state of Messina, not the city of Messina to Google Maps.

Hello! I’m heading up to the Amalfi Coast areas in early June in a group of 5 and basing at Salerno. Will be there for 4D3N. We’re all students so budget a bit tight, but is still open to hearing all options :)

Hi, Once was you could find a list of Italian train stations that had a left luggage service in the Italian language version on Trenitalia, but I have not been able to find it this time around.

Can anyone tell me where on the website I can find this information? Has the service been dis-continued?

Will have a chance to travel to the Ligure Coast (between Genova and Nice - France) by early June for a weekend. Any thoughts of nicer cities to visit and/or spend one night? Sometimes it seems that the most interesting Italian attractions in the Riviera are to the east of Genova (where I do not plan to go on this trip) and I should just move directly to the French Riviera...

My husband and I, along with 2 kids (11 and 9), are flying in and out of Rome end of June for a stay of 2 weeks.
I am thinking of breaking up the 2 weeks:
A- 4 nights in Rome--near Manzoni metro
B- Pick up a car from Rome Termini Railway
C- Drive to Atrini, Amalfi, or ? for five nights--Take boat to Capri
D- On the way back to Rome, stay in Sorrento for 2 nights with day trip to Pompeii
E- Back to Rome. Return car.
F- 2 night stay west of river for a visit to Vatican City.
G- Taxi to airport

I will be traveling to Italy in October. We are joining a group of folks in a healthy living group. We are staying in Monteprandone. I have never been out of the US, let alone to Italy. What are some must see's and restaurants that we might enjoy? Is it difficult to travel to other parts of Italy? and with that, is the travel extensive or can you do it in a day or so?
