Hello to everyone, for the wedding anniversary with my wife I thought I would take her on vacation in a beautiful Luxury villa in Lucca, since when we went there for our honeymoon we fell in love with that magnificent city. After so many searches I was advised by I do not know them very well but the photos really look great. Do you have any advice?
Sorry for English :) !!!
Hi, we are two girls travelling to Rome in mid july. We are looking for a cozy accomodation in Rome, best if near all the interesting areas to visit or in the art zone. Thank you for your help.
Hi, we will be doing some hut-to-hut hiking around Cortina d'Ampezzo in late June. We'll be working our way back towards Cortina d'Ampezzo, however, we will need to get transportation from our hotel out to Rifugio Passo Giau to start our hike. Is this something that I would need to book in advance or can I hire a taxi in town the day before?
Thanks in advance for the advice.
JP
We asked this elsewhere but are looking for as many opinions and experiences as possible: We're looking at Milan as a day trip or just spending a few hours there if we spend a night or 2 in Como or a stop on our way to Rome since my wife just wants to look at some high end fashion and my daughter wants her own pictures of the cathedral. It's not a place we're planning to stay so we won't have a hotel and were wondering about our luggage storage options for that kind of short term visit (there…
From our reading it looks like Italy is a very family friendly place to travel so we assume most restaurants welcome kids but we'll specify it anyway since they're all 10 and under and we have 3. We're spending a week in Rome and haven't decided on an area yet but we know we'll stay by public transportation and aren't shy about taking it. We're just looking for restaurant suggestions where it would be fun to dine as a family, not terribly overpriced, hopefully some less touristy places where…
Sorry if this is a repeat but I think it may have accidentally been deleted when I hit "create":
I have a grit obsessed 5 year old and it's an important part of our family vacations that he gets to eat grits at least once or twice when we're dining out. Someone on another forum suggested that polenta is basically Italian grits and gnocchi alla romana is a dish he would probably also like. Our itinerary isn't solidified but we're definitely spending a week in Rome so any suggestions on…
We're spending a week in Rome for sure with our 3 kids and have 1 more week in Italy that's not solidified yet but we do want to get some beach time in for the kids. It was suggested to us to spend a few days at a beach around Naples (since one of the kids wants to see Pompeii and we're hoping for at least some waves and a bit of dramatic scenery) and we're wondering if anyone has any particular suggestions or favorites or things they think kids will enjoy the most (all 10 and under). The town…
I asked this on another forum too but am trying to get as many opinions as possible: our itinerary isn't solid obviously (since I just posted an itinerary question) but we definitely know we're spending a week in Rome and are weighing the hotel VS apartment options. We have 3 kids, 10, 7, and 5 and it's our first time so hotels appeal to us because concierges would be able to provide extra help and advice that we might need, help us in emergency medical situations should they arise, etc, and…
Since I see a lot of itineraries posted in these forums I think this might be the best place to get some help, though I've posted my questions on another site too. There's just so much info out there decisions are hard to make!
We're a family of 5, kids ages 10, 7, and 5 coming to Italy for 2 weeks this summer and wanting to see everything possible while still enjoying a relaxing vacation. We come down on a train (the kids will enjoy the scenery) from Amsterdam and what we already know is…
Hi guys this is my first post here, and I'm also new into getting complicated visas so pardon my ignorance
I'm from Iran, I'm trying to get visa for my lazy boss. he wants to go to Italy for a business trip but also wants to take his family with himself for that trip, he has an official invitation from an Italian company . but I'm a bit confused here, is that possible to bring family with business visa (even though they mentioned his family members in that inviation) ? or I should try tourist…
