Hello¡¡
We are fascinated about our trip to Sicily and I need some help with the preparation.
We´ll be staying in apartments in Syracusa (5 nights ) and in Agrigento (9 nights) .My daughter is a 7 year old who is very interested and Greek mythology.
I m looking for participating in all kind of didactic activities in various archaeological museums and sites in Sicily where we are staying and in Selinunte too..
I ve read there are children´s workshops In Syracuse for the families related to…
I am thinking of spending a week in Sardinia to laze about and get to know the area in September.
I am a single female traveller with a limited budget. A quiet, pretty location near the beach, with simple accommodation is more important to me than a posh hotel. Since my budget is limited, it would be ideal if it was easily accessible from the airport.
Where do you suggest?
Dear ThornTree, I am planning a trip across northern Italy with my wife and I was curious to hear your advice about how to split up our time based on where we want to go. We have a total of 12 days including travel to and from the U.S. We will fly into Milan and leave from Venice or the other way around. Our main goal is to see the following:
- The area around Alba (we're both in the wine business)
- A stop in Milan for the main sites
- Some portion of the Lake District (not sure exactly…
Hello all,
travelling to Turin July 9-12 this summer. Looking for good apartment to rent for these three days. A bedroom for the toddler needed. The baby can sleep with mum and dad.
Would like to be near the main sights too so we don't have to take too many long bus rides.
thanks
Hello -
I will be traveling in the Fruili region from June 2- 9 and would like to source some Photographers/Content Creators to collaborate with. Does anyone know of any resources I can use to reach our or know of anyone?
Thanks!
I'm planning a week based in Milan with day trips out by train - a proven formula for me. There seems to be plenty to fill days in Pavia, Cremona and Brescia, for example, but the usual sources of information (guidebooks and Internet searches) are coming up with very little on Piacenza. I'm not looking for anything specific; just days to stroll the streets and soak up atmosphere, with old buildings a bonus. Am I right in relegating Piacenza to my 'B list' and considering it only if I have time…
Hi - can anyone advise on transportation from Minori to Assisi?
Thanks,

Hi!
A friend and I will be in the Venice/Fruili region for 7 days beginning next week. We are photographers and would like to travel from Venice to San Daniele and document the local culture and in particular Prosciutto making and heritage.
We have rented a house in Forgaria nel Friuli. The plan is to rent a car in Venice and drive to this region. Does anyone have any experience doing this? Any suggestions or potential issues?
Any and all input would be very helpful. Thank you!
Hi everyone! Looking for some advice or suggestions on a 3-day side trip from a Florence to the Dolomites or Lake Como. Hoping to get in some moderate hiking and see some sites. No plans to rent a car, but we can if it's recommended.
Any favourite towns or favourite routes? Best modes of transport, restaurants, etc.
Thank you!!
Hi
I have a two weeks to travel to a few places in Italy. I can fly to either Pisa or Rome easily. I would also like to visit Florence. Can anyone recommend best ways to travel (either train between places etc). Also is there any other places near pisa that would be lovely to visit too. We are very outdoor people and love walking and don't mind being on our feet all day. ALSO would visiting these places in mid August a bad idea. Do you think that it would be busy and just too hot and would it be…
