We want to get the ferry from Calabria to Sicily. Do we need to book (early September)? Or can we be flexible and just turn up?

Ha, suiko. I'm kinda wary about these four days we have in Calabria with a side trip to Sicily!. I've booked car hire and hotels but am not convinced everything wil be plain sailing. Bribes and confusion are two words that come to mind.
