Hello.
I am looking for information on getting to Munich from Venice. I have a Eurail pass but it doesn't include Austria. (to get to munich the train goes through Austria from Verona.) I am just wondering if anyone has done this route before.. how much it is and where else i can find this info.
I have checked the train sites and the eurail app but am falling short. I will be in Italy late Oct or early Nov. My plans are not finalized yet.
Thanks in advance!

We have recently travelled Munich > Salzburg > Innsbruck > Bolzano > Verona by train ... we just use www.bahn.de to find all the trains (not just those that touch Germany), and then individual country train websites to book and pay. We used http://www.oebb.at/en/ and www.trenitalia.com.

Can you use your Eurail Pass to get as far as Brenner Pass Station, and then just pay for the sector across Austria to the German border? Seems a pity to miss Innsbruck though - it's absolutely beautiful.

Brenner Pass Station is right on the border between Italy and Austria, on the rail line between Innsbruck and Bolzano / Verona. It's quite a big station - it's a major transport hub, by the looks of it from our train.

I did the trip the other direction in 2013. Back then, the train left Munich at 07:31 and arrived in Venice at 13:56. There was no change of trains (unlike most others on the schedule, which do require a change). I made my reservations through http://www.bahn.de . It was very pretty going through the mountains.

I'm very pro-walking and pro-pedestrian (and don't like cars much), but I still think it's probably more ethical to state that you are posting your own youtube product on here.

Sorry I didn't make that clear. In other forums I am on, virtually everyone knows I produce the series. Thanks for the reminder.
