Hi all! I am flying out of Rome at 6:15am on this coming Wednesday. Flying on TAP through Lisbon to Boston. How early do I need to get to the airport that morning? I am checking a bag. Thanks!!!

TAP use terminal 3, which is recently rebuilt and increased in size. Last time I came through there, security was extremely busy but quite efficient and took about 15 minutes from joining the queue. You will need to allow at least as long again after security as you will need to go through emigration, and if you don't have an EU passport this may take some time depending on how many other flights are departing, and the walk time to the gate can be a good 10 minutes. My guess is anything under 90 minutes may be cutting it fine, depending too on the queue at check in / bag drop. Note the trains do not arrive early enough for your flight, you'll need to investigate buses or taxis.

I would say 90mins to 2 hours. An hour might be fine but do you want to risk missing the flight, its a long way to Boston to have an extra 30 mins in Bed!
