Yes but the problem with Germany is their brewing laws, so they stifle a lot of a new beer methods.

There's something thin and unsatisfying about wheat beers, to my taste.

I like the bright, light summery lagers of Australia, and indeed of Southeast Asia. And in fact beer-drinking should be confined to warm, sun-loving countries, and not consumed by the cave-bears of Northern Europe or North America.
