I would be surprised if taxis have baby seats, but I don't know..never had to use one.

There is definitely a big hill between that hotel and the town. But you might be able to walk around it.Its a fair walk for sure.

Thanks yeah reading reviews saying its a 30 minute walk but some hills so not sure. May look at hiring a car but not from the airport maybe in Cefalu and we can then get the train back to Palermo airport

Are there any car hire places in Cefalu itself? Then we can take our own baby seat with us if need be. Depending on costs maybe an option as don't want to hire a car for it to be sitting outside hotel for the day. Then again would like to be able to have an alcoholic drink in the evening sun without thoughts of driving

The Astro suite hotel is around the same price and nearer to the town but not the same views but could live with that so looking at that also

Its quite a small town.I don't know if there are car hire places there, but its possible...it gets a lot of tourists,so maybe.

Ended up booking the Astro Suite Hotel. Bit more expensive than others but right in the middle of town and close to the train station so we can walk there. No need to hire a car and may take a trip to Castlebuono via bus

Now looking forward to getting there and enjoying the wine and food so if any recommendations of places to see, eat and drink at post away
