Hello everyone,

I've read through some other posts and did some research but can't quite seem to find an answer. I understand on average, Rome tends to be a bit on the rainy side in November. I am kicking around two windows for a trip, one in early November and the other just after Thanksgiving (late November into Early December). Does anyone know if one is better than the other for weather, on average?

Thanks!

Early November should be warmer.

It can be a rainy month, both at the beginning and at the end....

Nobody can predict this, and whilst it aways nicer to have better weather for visiting a city not really important. If you looked at historic records each year will be different.

Obviously November/December is likely to colder than early November on average. Beyond that, nobody can predict. It's unlikely to make a material difference to your trip.

I would go early November. The earlier the better.

Both months are rainy but December is a bit colder.....given the choice I'd pick more rain and less cold so November-early November!
