Yes, I have been to Venice several times and will be having a couple of days here to start with but really want to see more of Italy.

Are there other places on your itinerary you're re-visiting?

I suggested a easy and attractive ITINERARY. It's up to you decide where you want to stop over and where you want to sleep (may be Bozen, Pontresina, Varenna and Lugano; Verona railway station has luggage lockers).

But I think that's the point meckers ... if our OP is unfamiliar with many of those place names, they might like it fleshed out a bit why you've suggested them, and which ones could be overnight stops.

No, except for Rome if I decide to fly out of there. My first decision is exit point and date so I will take it from there. Thank you all for your assistance.
