We are making a transatlantic crossing from Rome to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida leaving the port of Rome (Civitavecchia) October 5, 2007. We are flying into Rome on October 4 and would like any suggestions/recommendations concerning a hotel ($250 or so) and a way to get to the port. We were in Rome on tour several months ago and are not really concerned about seeing the sights. Thanks

Hotel del Sentato is right in front of the Pantheon. For 1 night in Rome it's the perfect location in the heart of things. For trips to/from the port contact RomeCabs.
