Fair enough ... I just think people getting married get ripped off mercilessly in just about every area (food hair flowers food drinks car dress cake photos everything) ... so when they go on honeymoon they shouldn't get gouged even more.

But more importantly they shouldn't think they HAVE to spend £200 ++ a night, in order to do the right thing, marriage-wise. It's a complete and utter scam.

Why not look at Ischia, a lovely island with ferries from Naples, then it is very different. Praiano is a good choice. Sorrento to me is only good for a base for Pompeii and Capri. Ischia is much less touristy than Capri and offers a little bit more to do.

Ah ok. I've seen a couple of hotels on Ischia but didn't realise it was easy to get to. I'll do a bit of research, thank you :)

You can take a ferry from Naples. It is fairly easy.
