Hello, I am planning a 4 day trip to Florence in two weeks and considering the Firenze Card. However I am slightly nervous about not pre-booking timeslots to go into Uffizi and galleria dell'accademia. Could someone please explain to me the difference in queuing if we were to pre-book versus having the Firenze Card. Is it the same lines so it would not matter or would one option be quicker?

Many thanks for any help

It's a different queue for timed tickets, but it may still be a long queue. You may not simply be able to walk right in. I would still recommend the timed option.

I agree with Thomas67 and purchase timed tickets for both Uffizi and Galleria dell'sAccademia. We visited both museums this past Sept. with timed tickets and had no issue getting in. We arrived about 15 minutes before our time but didn't bother to get in line until about five minutes till entry time. Once the doors opened for our timed ticket we were inside within five minutes if not sooner. Ask people to make sure you get in the correct line. :)

Do the two above replies mean that you cannot buy the Firenze card and then book a time for museum entry?

I don't know. You may do better using the contact page on the Firenze Card website.

It is priority entry with the card,no booking on line except for the Duomo Cupola.
