Hi, planning a trip with the family to garda lake area early november. I am interested in knowing the schedule of the ferry, because it will determine the location where we stay. Website only displays summer schedule so far: http://www.lagodigarda.it/Info-utili/Linee-battelli/1185-6-1.html I googled around but found nothing. Wondering if anyone has an idea of how many ferries work in Autumn, if any at all.

Thanks!

There will not be many, the main car ferry still runs. But I suspect the winter timetable is not yet ready. A bit of a strange time to go the lake, it will be very quiet and most probably wet and grey. Wonderful is you get a cold blue sky day but miserable if not. The lack of people will make driving around the lake very easy.

There are buses along both shores:
Brescia/Desenzano - Salo - Riva and Verona/Peschiera - Garda - Riva.
No need for boats through fog and rain.
As said above, the Maderno - Torri ferry runs all the year round.
