I have been on a similar quest seeking inexpensive accomodations in the Dolomites. Prices can be less that 50 euro if you are traveling in June but once you are arriving in July or later 50 euro is about as inexpensive as it gets. Even the dormatories (mattress and blanket) in the refugia (which could be a cable car ride away from a car park) are 21 to 23 euro a night per person with breakfast extra! The web sites of individual villages (Val Gardena site was excellent) have huge listings of accomodations...and there are some B and B for 48 euro...I didn't see any less.
