I am heading to Sardinia in july. I have 3 nights booked in Cala gonone and then want to head north for 5 days.
Where is a good base for exploring beaches, activities but with good restaurants and bars close by. I am hesitating between santa teresa, Porto pollo so far but am open to any other suggestions. Someone recently recommended capo d'orso.
I would love to visit Alghero - is this do-able on a day trip from the areas mentioned or is it worth considering a night here?
