Having travelled extensively throughout Asia for years it was finally nice to hit Greece.
We loved Greece,the Greek people,the food,the landscape and the history and culture.
Here are a few tips.
1. Get a Vodafone sim. Our sim cost 15 Euro for one month and included 8 gb of data plus local calls.There is post office at Athens airport selling another sim but the Vodafone one is a fantastic deal.The people at Vodafone are very helpful.

I will be in Greece with my family of 4 & a kid in may 2nd week of May.
We are planning to travel from Delphi to Meteora by taking 0950 train from Levedia station.
Are taxis available in Delphi for Levedia, distance, time & cost?

My husband and I (active retirees) will be in Greece next February for 3 weeks. We are interested in ancient sites, walking, birding, local culture, food. We stay in vacation rentals and prefer 4-6 nights at each location. Willing to rent cars. We don't sunbath, party or wander through boutiques on holiday. I’m hoping to grab a weeks holiday next month and have been looking a various Greek Islands. One thing I like to do on holiday is snorkel, but I think the water is going to be a little chilly in May. I’ve been reading about underwater volcanic vents around some islands, it sounds like they warm up the sea a bit in places, is this correct? Can anyone recommend any good hot spring snorkelling locations or is the hot sulpherous water going to drive the fish away?

My friend and I are 24 years old and planning a trip to Greece. We fly in and out of Athens and have come up with a rough itinerary. However, we are unsure if we are making the best use of our time or if there are other islands we should be seeing. Any advice would be appreciated! I've decided to tack on a trip to Greece (Santorini) to the end of this summer's trip to Italy . After doing a little research I booked a place in Oia, but I really have no idea about anything there and am open to booking in another area. Does anyone have any Santorini insight?? Where do you think would be the best area to stay? And what are some neat things to do there?? Restaurant recommendations?

We are going to Greece next month and came up with the following itinerary. Is this realistic or are we planning too much? We love to explore, but is this too little time on each island? We are open on the middle of the trip (Milos), but are pretty set on Santorini and Naxos. We are a couple in our early 30’s, mostly looking at relaxing, good food, and beaches. TIA

My 2 adult daughters (ages 22 and 27) are planning a trip to Greece. Most of the trip is planned but we're stuck on the last spot. Current itinerary is as follows:
