I want to go to Dimitra's Temple, Naxos independently using public transport. Is it possible, or would there be lots of walking?
I can see that there is a bus to Sagri / Sangri (I see two spellings), although does it just drop you on the main road, and then continue towards Halki? If I get off and walk to Bazeos Tower, could I then continue walking to Dimitra's Temple? Approximately how far in KM / time would it be?

I'm planning a 10 day trip Sept. 2-12 for my parents (late 50s) in the Greek Islands. They're not adventurous or independent, and don't want to move around too much. I'm wondering if anyone has slept/free camped on the islands of Moni or Dokos? I live in Athens, and I'd like to visit both (on separate weekend trips from Aegina and Hydra respectively) and sleep overnight. I was thinking of using just a sleeping bag and not taking a tent, as I will be going in June/July. I know that free camping is illegal, but I also know that it is tolerated in some places. I'm wondering if Moni and Dokos are among those places?
