Thinking of booking a holiday in Naxos. Is there a refugee problem there ?
Don't want to have our holiday spoilt by what we've seen on TV.

No. Have you looked at a map?? Naxos is nowhere Near Turkey. Nor is it near the ONE place around athens (the old Olympic site-- also far away from tourist areas -- which is being used as temp housing). You would have to go deliberately to places right across from Turkey coast even to see any refugee evidence.
Please do not rely on TV for y our information about GReece. Particularly BRitish TV. It helps to read a responsible newspaper such as the Guardian, rather than tabloids, to learn what actually is going on; otherwise you may be mistaken as uninformed. Knowledge is power! Naxos overall is THE best of Greek isles (and i have visited 25+). Go before the rest of the world finds out.
