1) Direct Bluestar, Hellenic seaways, Seajets from Piraeus, rather date dependent in September.
The Seajet 2 and Flyingcat 3 are rather small, expensive, and not comfortable in rough sea.

Copy/Paste the above if it does not appear as a link.

2) Alternatively Mon-Sat take the 07:25 Bluestar to Naxos and then the 14:00 'Express Skopelitis' to Koufonisi.
Whilst the second way is more involved and takes longer you can arrive earlier. It's a case of slower is better sometimes.

Thank you so much for your help.
Do you think it`s necessary to book in advance or you just show at the terminal and board? If you buy before is it cheaper that at boarding time?
Thank you again....

Ferry prices are fixed, same price whether booked in advance directly with the Greek ferry company, or bought in Piraeus.
By that date no real necessity to book, though you can if you wish.
In either case you need paper tickets in hand, you collect booked tickets in Piraeus.

.... and don't forget that FB Skopelitis and the smaller catamarans will not run if the sea is too rough.

I will travel to Koufounissia after the 15th of September! It s my first time in Greece and I am looking for a quiet island just to relax and swim!
