I know there is a similar topic below, but this is a different time of year.

Anyway, we are going to Turkey soon, and wish to go from there to Greece. I know we can catch a 10 hour bus from Istanbul to Thessalonika, but I would prefer to island hop. Is this possible in mid October?
A preferred itinerary would include Santorini, Paros and possibly Rhodes, before getting to Piraeus.

Thanks for any help you can give.

One itinerary could be-
Turkey- Marmaris =ferry to Rhodes, flight to Santorini [check schedules here skyexpress and then ferry to Paros/Piraeus daily schedule]

another alternative is-
Bodrum/Turkey - ferry to Mykonos [Hellenic seaways ] and connect to Santorini or Kos - Paros [GA ferries] and then ferry to Santorini. [fligth Santorini-Rhodes-Athens.... not as convenient as the the first option].

Route 1
Kusadasi(Turkey) >Samos(Vathy) >Paros >Santorini >Rhodes >Piraeus/Athens.

Route 2
Marmaris(possibly Bodrum) >Rhodes >Santorini >Paros >Piraeus/Athens.

The main snag in both routes is the Rhodes<>Santorini connection, the ferries are 2x per week and I don't think there are many direct flights unless you go via Athens.
Missing out Rhodes means route 1 is the easiest and shortest. Depends of course on where you want to go in Turkey and the time you have available.

That is a great help thanks! I don't actually have a great interest (mainly due to time) in Rhodes, I just thought that was the only way from Turkey to Greek islands by ferry.

Is there a website that has a search engine for ferry times and costs? I tried google, but got confused by some of the results. Route 1 from Kudasi sounds like it would do the trick (taking out Rhodes though).

Thanks again.

If you have exact dates, this is a good site here.
Samos' port is called Vathy, just in case it's required.

Kusadasi to Samos(Vathy) is about 1-2 per day.
Ferries from Samos(Vathi) to Piraeus(Athens) about 1 per day. All stop at Ikaria, half to Mykonos & Syros, and the others stop at Naxos & Paros on the way to Piraeus.

For Turkey to Greece:
