Ferry from zakynthos zante to athens

is it possible? i have searched a few different ferry websites but i haven´t found a direct route. has anybody done this journey before, and what route did you take?
basically my little sis is getting married in zante next may, mum would like to visit athens so i am looking into getting a ferry there from zante.

There is no ferry from Zakynthos to Athens. You will have to ferry to Kyllini and then travel by bus to Athens.

According to my LP of Greece there are 4 daily buses, directly from Zakynthos to Athens (duration 6 hours).

It is straight forward, go to the KTEL bus office in Zante town, the bus is about 5 times a day, via the Zante > Kylini ferry, takes something like 5 hours. You could also fly with Olympic airlines.
