hey, back home today !!
It was amazing, a bit too tired but will write in detail over the weekend. in short we didn't follow the plan and did everything in reverse.

I will try to post in as much as detail as I can.
Guide books used :
1. Rick steve's guidebook on Greece
2. Lonely Planet
As per the original plan we were suppose to start our journey from Nafplio and end through Delphi back to Greece.
but I was keen on visiting hosios loukas monastery which we later found out would be closed on Monday.
Our flight was suppose to land at 6:00 PM so we decided if our flight is on time then we will head out to Delphi else to Nafplio.
We booked our car through Athens Car rental (ACR) and the process was very smooth We were out of gate at 6:00 PM and in our rental car (Opel Corsa) by 6:20 and left airport around 6:30
I am used to left hand drive so it took some time adjusting to the right hand drive but roads and highway were pretty good. and We reached Delphi at 9:15 .
At that time of the day drive was very beautiful and the town of Arachova was very pretty, but we decided to stay in Delphi as we had another change in Plan. I insisted that we should also visit Meteora as its on the cover page of lonely Planet :)
We checked in Sibylla Hotel and went to Taverna Vakhos which was exceptionally good !

hosios loukas monastery was a bit of detour but it was really worth the visit, We had a feeling that we have transcended back in time. From there we drove to Meteora but the GPS was pointing a long way and we didn't have Google maps and somehow we managed to get lost :)
we reached a small town where we were able to find wifi and Google maps brought us back on track through a wonderful drive through some more smaller town and vast plains.
The first view of the rocks was magical !
Finally we reached Meteora around 5PM and found a room in Kastraki. After a bit of rest we went to a rock to enjoy the sunset, the view was amazing. But was really disappointed by people with selfie sticks. :(
