Hi
Hoping someone can help, not been on this sit on a very long time, so hope I have posted this in the right place.
I'm going to Corfu on August and have seen that a Thomson do a day trip to Albania, is it any good and is worth going? If any other company's do the same, would still be interested in opinions of how worth while, interesting it is?
Many thanks in advance.
All depends on your interest for the archeological site of Butrint.
The sheduled catamarans arrive arund 10am at Saranda and will leave from there at 4pm. That means you will have 6 hrs only, just enough time for Butrint - Hexamilio - Saranda.

We do like history and archeological sites, so this is a possibility, what is the site like.

Google.
We were going to go with them, as that's who are holiday package is with, and thought it might be the easiest way, as they take you to the site, then one other place.
But will try to find out, how this could be done are selves, thank you

Not something I would normally recommend but in the short space of time, I would think the tour would be the best option, both in getting around and to be given information. Whether you like the or not Thomson normally offer pretty good quality excursions. (but I would say that being an ex guide)
