I will be arriving to Athens in just a couple of days and I have searched all over here for something around $25-35 Euro per night for a double but having no luck. anyone know of a decent place in a decent area for around this price. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

I'd like to be wrong on this one, but a double in your price range for a decent room in a decent area is probably impossible. 40-50 EUROs is a more realistic lower end.
Another regular (brotherleelove) has mentioned a John's Place on Mitropoulis street with a rioom price close to your top end. I don't know if this would be a double (never stayed there myself).
Otherwise, try browsing Athens cheap hotels for ideas.
