I'll be in Greece for almost 4 weeks, starting from next Monday. I've already got the first week (Athens and Mykonos sorted re accommodation and transport. After that, I'm just going to be doing my own thing.

April is not the busy season. It's not so difficult to find cheaper accommodation online, but it's a bit of a time hassle. I'd rather just turn up somewhere, and then find a place to kip. I'm just wondering if cost wise, I'm better off spending the time online, and booking accordingly, or whether it's wise just to turn up and chance my luck.

Ta in advance.

All depends on the places you go. At small Islands, room owners usually try to find guests at the boats's pier (and you can bargain).
At places infested with tons of foreign tourists, this method wouldn't word, however.
