I was hoping that someone would be able to help me with a few questions that I have about traveling to southern Germany in December.

Munich is a city I know nothing about.

Ok I am as some would say 'technologically challenged'. I will be travelling around Germany (and other places) but mainly Germany for about a month or so. As we want to just go with the flow and not book ahead I thought it would be handy to take a laptop with us instead of wasting time having to run around and find an Internet cafe etc. So what I want to know is:

1) we are searching a hostel providing both a little bit privacy (separate room with bath) and access to the young people/ backpackers.

Hi I'm going to Munich 2-4 of May and need a place to park. My hotel is near the Central Station and Theresienwiese, but has no parking facilities. I know there are city centre carparks but I can't find any information about them in English. Any suggestions?
