So I'm taking a City NightLine night train from Munich to Paris this summer, and I was wondering if anyone who's traveled on it can give me their opinions on the varying levels of comfort? For example, is a "day couch" (the lowest available price/comfort) all that bad? Or should plump for something more expensive. I am budgeted, so it'll either be a day couch or a couchette, not a single cabin.

We are visiting Rothenburg from Jul 29 - Aug 1.
We are driving from Amsterdam on July 29 so on our way were going to stop at Aachen and spend a full day there. Also, on the way we were thinking to stop at Cologne Cathedral and see Hohenzollern Bridge. We would arrive late on July 29.
July 30 - full day at Rothenburg.
July 31 - Visit Würzburg
Aug 1 - Rothenburg - > Munich (my next destination) but spend the full day at Ulm

As part of a ten day solo visit to Munich in the second week of June, I'm hoping to take a short 4/5 day hiking trip in Bavaria.
I hear that hut-to-hut hiking is the most fun way to do it, but despite fairly extensive searching, I'm finding it really difficult to find guided walks in this region for this kind of duration. Does anyone know of any tour company that is offering this type of thing?
Alternatively, does anyone know of any forums where people can organise themselves into…

I am accompanying a friend to see her ancestral homestead in early June, and we have 7 days to get from Stuttgart to Munich with a stop in Bad Waldsee.
I plan on renting a car and my only bucket list item is to visit the Mercedes Benz museum on the day we arrive.
Please advise of favorite towns (Tuebingen?) and activities/sites (Lake Constance?) along the way.
My traveling companion also wishes to visit Schloss Neuschwanstein.

Hi, I'm looking into prices of train tickets for my upcoming travel and a lot of the time when I enter the origin and destination the results come up with information on the time and what type of train it is etc, but says "Fares not available".
For example right now I'm looking at Nuremberg to Rothenberg Ob Der Tauber on June 10th. On the services that involve IC and RB trains it gives me a price of €29 savings fare and €40 standard fare, but they don't run all that often. All the other results…
