Will be in Wurzburg for a few days in September.
Looking for some nice places to visit......castles, lakes and other attractions would be helpful.

Not to far from Würzburg ( approx 16 miles) is the lovely little town of Karlstadt.Think there's a cyclepath all the way from Würzburg to Karlstadt as well

In Wurzburg there´s the Residenz and the Festung Marienburg( Castle on a hill over the river Main, great views over Wurzburg), some nice churches like the Dom or the Marienkapelle and some other sites I just forgot about:-)
