Hi,
I will be changing planes in Frankfurt in the first week in June 2008.
I arrive at Frankfurt Hahn at 21.00hrs and have a flight from Frankfurt Main at 08.30hrs the next morning.
I know there are connecting buses between the airports but I do not want to sleep in the airport.
Can anyone recommend a good place to stay near to Frankfurt Main airport, and the best way to get there at night from Frankfurt Hahn?

Somenone told me Mainz is really a nice town, close to airport.
If you take S-Bahn from airport you arrive in Mainz "city centre" (30 minutes journey, about € 4,00)
Shuttle buses from Hahn airport
Mainz is indeed an option. However the next shuttle bus to Frankfurt would fit with departure at 21:30 better to your arrival time (30 min. are sufficient at Hahn).
From Mainz to Frankfurt airport you'll need 25-30 min by local public transport. Single ticket is EUR 3,60.
From Frankfurt to Frankfurt airport you'll need 10-20 min by local public transport. Single ticket is again EUR 3,60.
Acc. to my information the shuttle bus leaves Hahn at 10.15 pm and goes over Mainz Hbf(central station) to Frankfurt airport and Frankfurt Hbf. So it is advisable to stay overnight close to the station in Mainz and take the commuter train next morning to the airport. Arrival at Mainz will be 11.20 pm.
