Securing a ticket to an Hertha BSC match at Olympiastadion - Berlin

I read the site at ticketmaster.de. It says if you order from abroad you can pick up the tickets at the stadium on the day of the match. You need to show some ID. They can be picked up about two hours before the match starts.

You can also buy ticket e.g. at the Hertha BSC Fan Shops. E.g. in the Hauptbahnhof (main railway station) or the Europa-Center (near Zoo station).

will that game even be sold out ?

Here's the reply directly from HERTHA BSC GmbH & Co. KGaA:

The United States should be included. But if not due to a technical problem (this can only be checked by Ticketmaster) just choose any another country EXCEPT Germany. It does not matter. It is just important that you klick the button “Bestellungen aus dem Ausland: Tickethinterlegung”.

So we can be sure that your tickets are on matchday at the stadium (at the “Tickethinterlegung”, Eastgate, Olympischer Platz) and not lost by post.

But if you do feel unsure for yourself it will be no problem to purchase tickets when you will arrive in Berlin (http://www.herthabsc.de/index.php?id=15705) or on matchday at the stadium. We do have enough capacity. You can use the pre- sale up to matchday (except Olympic Stadium), but please note that the tickets are EUR 1,- to 2,- more expensive directly at the stadium.

So it will be better to buy under the onlineshop or in one of the other fanshops in Berlin (cheaper price than at the stadium also on matchday).

Please do also note that matchday is actually not fixed. The match can also takes place on 16th. The exact date will be communicated by the Deutsche Fußball Liga some weeks before (www.bundesliga.de) and then we will also inform about this on www.herthabsc.de.
