Hopeless - need help

Hi all - going on a bit of an expedition to US/UK/Europe/Middle East and half way through plan to go to Oktoberfest - Munich.

I've been slack as per usual and left my accom booking too late and am having trouble locating something within my price range.

I'm travelling by myself and looking for help finding accom - I'm not fussed with what - a cardboard box lined with pizza stains will do the trick (as well as providing useful sustainance) but I was kind of hoping for a tent or dorm accom.

I was hoping to go where the party is too, so close to Munich would be optimal.

I'm sure there is some well seasoned travellers who could provide me some useful info or directions to the nearest pizzeria for my jaunt.
