Check the website Skyscanner for Paris to Berlin flights.

About 20 years ago I took a friend to introduce her to Berlin-we took 9 days, and I know she's been back at least twice since to see things we didn't have time for. Do not underestimate the amount there is to see and do in and around the city. Use the search button on thorntree to lookfor other people's suggestions for places to see. And agree about flying from Paris - its too far for high speed trains to compete on time, but if you had time available to take 2 or 3 days over your journey there are plenty of cities worth visiting on the way
You could do a day trip from Berlin to Dresden or Hannover if you want a change of scenery. I thought Hannover was quite nice, it has an interesting old town hall and some old churches and an easy self-guided walking trail painted on the sidewalks.

Honestly, I like Nuremberg more than Munich. They have the castle, Nazi Rally Grounds, & many other important places to visit that pertain WWII history in Nuremberg. I live here & I blog on daytrips in Bavaria. I would reconsider Munich. My blog is A Southern Belle's Fairytale on Weebly if you would like to look. Best of travels!
