Frankfurt -> Prague night train departure station

The Frankfurt (Main) Flugh train station is at the airport and is easily accessed by escalators.

ceebee, you're absolutely right. You can catch your train at the airport.

Attention though, there are two train stations at the airport. The one you need is named "Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof", that's where the long distance trains depart. The other one, Regionalbahnhof, has local trains and S-Bahn only.

218 Euro sounds like the regular price (i.e. no super special, just the plain, regular fare) to me.

IF you want a lower price, gat a 3bed sleeper or liegewagen=couchette, (6beds/planks to lie down) or just the seat, thats the only way NOW tyo bring price down, in fact for 218 EUR you can fly twice to some place on the med, IF prebooked a long time before....

I know that we could probably get a flight from Frankfurt to Prague (and probably also on to the next stop, Munich) for around the same price as the night train, but my thoughts are that after a long flight from Australia to Frankfurt we can just jump straight onto the night train, get some decent sleep in a 2 bed sleeper, then arrive in Prague in the morning, rather than get out of Frankfurt Airport to a hostel late in the evening, check in, then check out early in the morning to catch a morning train / plane to Prague.

Would anyone know if I purchase my night train ticket online from here, then for some reason my flight is delayed coming into Frankfurt and we miss the night train, would the ticket be refundable/exchangable for the next day?
