Hi!

My parents land in EuroAirport (across the French border) next week at 22:30 at night. I'm assuming it will be at the very least 23:00 by the time they are out of the airport. They want to get to Lörrach, because the next morning they are renting a car from there to travel Germany.

What's the best way to get from the airport to Lörrach at that time of night?

Thanks!

There is a public bus at 23.10 and a connection to the local train from Basel Mainstation to Lörrach,
but later on I think it's no problem to catch a taxi for this drive. It might even be faster, if not cheaper for two.

And it would be better your parents leave via the door to the German border (the airport has three exits)

Easiest way: taxi from airport to Huningue - Palmrain bridge - Weil am Rhein - Stetten - Loerrach (14 km).
Public transport: Bus 50 from airport (Swiss exit) to Brausebad - Basel SBB railway station, every 10 min until midnight, journey time to Brausebad 10 min, to Basel SBB 13 min
(Last) train from Basel SBB to Stetten - Loerrach at 23.40, journey time 23 min
Tram 6 from Brausebad to Riehen Grenze (Loerrach Stetten border): every 15 min from 19.52 until 0.07, journey time 30 min.
Distance from Riehen Grenze to Loerrach city center: 2 km. Call a Loerrach taxi for this ride.
There are 2 Loerrach hotels close to Riehen Grenze tram stop: JFM and Grenzblick
